Is there a dress code?

Yes! We kindly ask guests to dress in Black Tie Optional attire. Tuxes and gowns are preferred but not required.

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Accepted Answer

We are asking guests to honor our unplugged ceremony – this means no phones, cameras, or tablets during the ceremony itself.  Our photographer and videographer will capture everything, and we’ll happily share with you later.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only weekend. We appreciate any advanced planning this requires.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

There is free street parking on Ravenswood Ave in front of the building. It is first come, first served. Side streets such as Cullom Ave or Montrose also have parking available.

Question 5

Will there be transportation provided to the wedding?

We hope to provide transportation to the Wedding for guests staying at The Emily Hotel. We are working on this and will update the website when we have more information![There will be shuttle available for those staying at The Emily Hotel.  Please be in the lobby by ___________]

Can I bring a date?

We kindly request that guests only bring a plus-one if their invitation specifically indicates they are welcome to do so.
